The goal of the theory review and application assignments is to get a sense of you as a student and your relationship to these theories. These assignments will require you to: Select a theory from the section you felt strongly about (whether positive or negative). For these assignments, you can choose either the Chicago school, differential association theory, anomie theory, or institutional anomie theory.
