Overview:
Social Emotional Paper. Also you are to select one social/emotional program from the following list: Responsive Classroom, ABA (applied behavior analysis), Tribes Learning Community, Second Step (Early Learning) or Conscious Discipline.
You should review the program and philosophy. Also Select at least six (6) sources for your information (one can be your textbook but two must be scholarly articles). Then write a 1500-word essay which includes the following:
History of the program approach, Rationale of the program–why is it needed, Theory behind the program. Secondly, what specific behaviors does the program address, Major components of the program. Also discussion of the pros and cons of the program as they relate to classroom instruction (and what we know is true about early childhood brain development), Conclusion that discusses your own views of child guidance in the classroom and the approaches that best complement your personality.
