Persuasive Research Report . For this assignment, you will compose a persuasive research essay related to the topic you have selected for the semester. You must narrow and frame your topic to something that can be reasonably addresse-d in 6-10 pages. Write to persuade an audience who either does not agree with the perspective that you are presenting or is not reasonably informe-d about your topic. Use audience-based reasons to persuade them to either take action or question/change their perspective. (Remember to be convincing, but don’t let your tone become harsh or offensive.)
Summary:
Your essay must have a clear thesis (a statement of the claim with your reasons) in the introduction. Your paper should have at least 3 reasons to support your claim and must address at least 2 opposing views.
At least 7 outside sources are require-d. Of these 7 sources, at least 3 must be articles from scholarly journals that were accessed through the online library databases. All sources must be cite-d parenthetically within your essay and on the Works Cited page. (In addition, remember that you must use at least 5 of the sources that were listed in your Annotated Bibliography in writing this essay.
Additional Guidelines
The quotes should be complete sentences (no more, less) and should be incorporate-d in your essay to illustrate your ideas. Please, cite your sources in a clickable reference list at the end. Also, do not copy without providing proper attribution (quotation marks and in-line citations). Also, write an essay format, not in bullet form, numbering, or another list format. It would be best if you use your own words. Lastly, proofread your work and run it through Grammarly for thorough confirmation.
