Using Microsoft Word (doc, docx, pdf), your job is to write a 1,000-word essay on the following theme: This essay is called “New Inventions, Developments and Ideas.” Your job is to pick three developments from Section 4 and explain how they shaped ideologies discussed in Section 5. You need to make sure you link each development to an idea or political movement from Section 5 and that you make apparent how the two are related. Confine your resources to the section scripts, videos and textbook in the unit module here on Canvas. You need to cite information by using parentheses.
If you pull from the script, cite it like this (Section 1 Script). If you cite a video, cite it like this (Section 1 Video). If you pull information from the textbook, cite it like this (Textbook, page 34). Do not use any outside sources. Also, you must write your essay in your own words. Copying long portions from the script, the textbook or the internet will result in a grade of zero. See the grading rubric below for how your submission will be graded.
