Step1. Mental Health Courts.
Mental Health
Courts have been designed as a spin-off of Drug Court to meet the needs of the justice-involved mentally ill. Each model is designed differently, and studies tout the success of these programs. Critics note that the programs are a way of further stigmatizing and segregating the mentally ill.
Use supporting evidence from your reading/lecture. Here your answer in 400 words or more.
Remember to be specific and refer to the course material in order to demonstrate your understanding of the material.
Note: When you post your original post in order to receive full credit ensure you are demonstrating analytical thought, referring to course material, and answering the question fully. Also, you will not receive full credit if you do not respond to one of your fellow student’s posts also demonstrating analytical thought and referring to course material. Simply stating your opinion, or “good job” will not suffice for credit. Do not use external sources, be specific to the material in the attachment.
Discussion questions MUST BE in-depth, interesting questions that require your classmates to draw on the assigned materials and readings: THESE ARE NOT OPINION QUESTIONS! The goal is to inspire sophisticated and analytical conversation; thus, it is important to take the time to construct thoughtful, answerable questions that are clear, engaging, and relevant to the topic and reading(s) for the week.
Make the section with your discussion questions separate from the rest of your reflection by including an extra empty line before the discussion questions make the questions easier to see.
DO NOT count as part of the 400-word minimum required of initial reflection posts. Again, do not use external sources, be specific to the material in the attachment. I will not accept external sources. LOOK AT THE FILE PDF IN THE ATTACHMENT TO ANSWER STEP-1.
