Major Motivational Theorist
Overview:
Presentation on a major motivational theorist. should include a history of the theory/ theorist (why their views came about), their theory, and a practical example applying their theory to today’s work environment.
For this assignment, you are to select a motivational theorist that provides guidance to leaders. The theorist can be traditional or contemporary. Examples of theorists are Skinner, Hawthorne experiments, Maslow, Transformational leadership, Charismatic Theory, and Transformational leadership.
Presentation should be in the following format:
Introduction (Background information on the theorist-professional experience, what led to the discovery of the theory). Theory (Actual theory regarding motivation) Business work example of the theory (apply the principles of the theory to describe a current business situation relating to employee motivation such as delivering performance appraisals, dealing with dysfunctional behavior-lateness, absenteeism, goal setting. · Reference page (APA format).
