How Temperature Affects your chosen Components. This assignment’s activities are to be completed in the following order: Part 1- Starting your Academic Essay [Individual work] . Whereby, choose TWO components in your field of study. Note: you may use the glossary of terms as a guide in identifying which are considere-d components. Then describe, in your own words, why you have chosen these components and what the function of these components are.
Literature Search [Individual work] . Firstly, Using various credible sources, as demonstrated in the information literacy sessions completed in semester one. on how to narrow your search for relevant articles/books, search for literature related to the following: a. How temperature affects your chosen components. Read what other authors are saying about this. However, remember to write down the references of all the sources (whether electronic/printed) you have chosen to use in your essay. Also remember to keep these sources readily available whilst writing your essay as you will need to refer back to the content found.
The references you have gathere-d will be used in-text as well as have a corresponding reference list at the end of your essay. Note: you will use IEEE referencing style, and the reference list itself will not form part of the page count of your essay.
Part 3,Structuring and Writing your Academic Essay [Individual work] o You are expected to write a three-page academic essay (no longer) on the title: “The Effect of Temperature on Components”. Note that this page count does not include your departmental cover page, nor the reference list.
You are to use the information gathered in parts one and two above to write this academic essay, with in-text referencing, and a corresponding reference list. Therefore, create a Word document using MS Word. Also set your document parameters as stated in the submission section of this document. Then follow the guidelines/sections listed below to complete your essay: a. The essay must have a suitable INTRODUCTION (about 2 short paragraphs). Clearly state what your intentions are in this essay. Refer to paragraph writing lecture videos on blackboard.
For example: Critical discourse analysis method (or also known as the sandwiching method). Remember to set up the end of the paragraph to mention that topics you will be mentioning in the next section. b.
