Early Intervention Collaborative Consultation Paper

Assignment Description:  Students will research current trends and available resources for collaborative early intervention services in Pennsylvania.  Students will write a 5-6 page paper citing a minimum of five resources gathered from the library’s database (see “Required Text and Materials” #3 and #4 in the beginning of the syllabus).  Additional information and related documents will be posted in Session 8 of the course content on Brightspace.  The paper should integrate student’s learned knowledge from the course with current trends, where applicable. The paper should address the following:

Outline the transdisciplinary teams and family-based practices in early intervention. Describe the process for determining a child eligible for early intervention services, explain the five domains for developmental evaluation and the use of at risk and clinical judgment in the infant toddler services and eligibility screenings for 3 to 5, preschool.
